My name is James, and I am a certified EMT currently continuing my education as a paramedic student while gaining hands-on experience in pediatric and prehospital care. I am actively working in a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) setting, where I monitor medically complex children during transport, maintain and document medical supplies, and assist with patient-specific interventions as part of an established plan of care. I am driven by a genuine passion for helping others and take pride in delivering compassionate, reliable care in both routine and high-responsibility environments. I am highly motivated to learn, consistently seek feedback, and ask questions to strengthen my clinical judgment and technical skills. I bring a strong work ethic, dedication, and a team-focused mindset, and I am eager to continue growing within the EMS and medical field while making a meaningful impact on the patients and communities I serve.
Advanced Care Partners – Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC)
A Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) program is a medical day-care setting that provides skilled nursing care, continuous medical monitoring, and medically necessary interventions for children with complex or chronic health conditions under a physician’s plan of care.
At Advanced Care Partners PPEC, I provide pediatric-focused care by monitoring children during transport to and from their homes, ensuring their safety and clinical stability throughout the process. I maintain, and document medical supplies and equipment to ensure readiness and compliance with pediatric care standards. I assist with and administered medically indicated interventions as needed, following individualized pediatric care plans and provider direction. Throughout care and transport, I closely observe patient condition, identify changes in status, and respond appropriately to support continuity of care between the home and clinical environments while delivering compassionate, child-centered care.
