Self-motivated and reliable worker, experienced in working alone and also with crews. Able to adapt and be trained in any environment and/or skill. Looking to grow knowledge further within the utility industry and become a valuable asset to the team.
I work in field maintenance for the underground sewer infrastructure of Ellensburg. Duties include jetting, flushing and TVing sewer mains, responding to customer calls and emergency backups, doing inspections of new construction, locating of utilities, tapping sewer mains for new services, performing miscellaneous repairs, hydro excavating, and sometimes working in tandem with other departments for bigger projects.
I've been trained in collections, pump stations, meter reading, and currently work on the construction crew. Daily duties vary depending on projects and emergency situations but include new water line installs, renewing old service lines, repairing main breaks, repairing/replacing hydrants and saw-cutting concrete and asphalt. I've been trained to go on-call, I have locate training, and am familiar with using Cityworks to analyze underground infrastructure. I also have my Class A CDL, flagging certification, and forklift certification. I have obtained my WDM 1, Cross-Connections, and Wastewater 1 certifications.
I was responsible for opening the department every morning and managing 2-3 workers. Daily duties involved basic department preparation, cutting meat, managing inventory and placing orders, customer service, and cleaning/maintaining all saws, grinders and equipment used for production.
I supervised 3-5 students and coordinated with chefs in the kitchen to serve food to students at the lunch hall. I was attending the college, only worked part time.
Daily duties included gathering of supplies and food, transporting to venue, set-up and take down. Sometimes I'd work alone while larger events required a team and also serving guests. Worked part time while attending college.
