Summary

Hired by the Monroe Police Department in 1990. I then completed the 38th North Delta Regional Training Academy where I received my Louisiana POST certificate.

In 1991 I was assigned to the Patrol division.

In 1995 I was assigned to the Canine division where I worked a Duel purpose (patrol & narcotic) dog.

In 2009 I completed an 18 week Trainer/Instructors course in Patrol and Narcotic Detection dogs.

In 2009 I was promoted to the rank of Sargent while remaining in the Canine division.

I have also instructed Drug Dog Enhancement schools in New Orleans,La, Meridian,Ms, Baldwin Co.Al, Chattanooga,Tn and Des Moines,Ia.

In 2015 I was promoted to Lieutenant while still assigned to the Patrol Division as a shift Lieutenant.

In 2018 I was promoted to Captain and I was the Assistant Patrol Bureau Commander.

In 2022 I was promoted to Major and was assigned to the Investigation Division where I retired as the Investigation Bureau Commander January-13-2025
