Summary

I am an ever-evolving third-grade teacher with over a decade of classroom teaching experience. My entire career has been in the same Title 1 school. The children I serve and teach are my why. My classroom is managed and taught from the heart, with the needs of each learner driving daily instruction. My approach to planning and instruction accounts for the diverse learners in my classroom. I depend on data gathered through ongoing running records, anecdotal notes, experiences with each learner, and the data collected from various formative and summative assessments. Additionally, I promote an inclusive environment in which all learners feel safe, respected, heard, and understood.
