  • Worked with programming and setup of various wireless and internet devices for hotels, collages, movie theaters and various small businesses.
  • Program internet switches (Adtran/Netgear/FS models), wireless access points (BlueSocket), modems, laptops, tablets, Videri display panels for advertising content, polycom phone systems such as CDS-9010/9070/9090 models and Cradlepoint 850/950/1850 devices for SIM card providers such as T-Mobile, GMR, Verizon and AT&T.
  • Scanned and entered in information notes on company VSelect and Netsuite inventory systems on ticket status, hardware status, start and stop times on work.
  • Pick and pull inventory stock from warehouse depending on what was needed to fulfill work requirements, transfer said equipment to workstation using internal inventory system to track equipment location.
  • Organize warehouse, verify inventory of warehouse in quarterly inventory checks to management. Report errors to inventory management via excel sheet list and detailed email or personal message on items that were incorrect and request verification/update.
  • Work with FedEx shipping manager to create labels for shipping out equipment to fulfill orders, fill out internal tracking ticket system with shipping information. Pick and pull completed hardware from designated holding areas from Product Integration team.
  • Work with FedEx receiving/tracking to record and manage inbound shipments, returns from non-delivery and then process equipment received, verify contents match requested or stated ship items to be returned, report any discrepancies.
  • Organize returned items, mark down received equipment on Microsoft excel sheets with various information of device, tracking, date/time of shipment, serial number and mac address if available. Separate returned items in to proper categories for transfer and storage in warehouse.
  • Testing of returned equipment to warehouse, verify if equipment is physically damaged, if equipment functions properly, reset equipment to factory defaults for reuse on later projects. Cleaning of said equipment if dirtied by various agents, glue, stickers, markers, ect.
  • Handle phone calls from Velocity clients, mark down issues of non-working equipment on site in internal ticketing system, create/update trouble tickets on site issues.
  • Work with technicians in the field over phone on installation procedures of new or replacement equipment, work with Velocity engineering department if necessary/needed.
  • Monitor Velocity site/client surveillance database for equipment failures, contact sites to verify issue, work with onsite staff to try and address issues remotely, if unable, create trouble ticket for service technician to be dispatched to address site issues.
  • Work with various other departments at Velocity using Microsoft Teams service to discuss problems, answer questions, receive management updates.
