Summary

With over 20 years of experience in emergency medical services and two years as an ICU Registered Nurse, I've built my career around staying calm under pressure, leading with empathy, and delivering exceptional patient care. From the back of an ambulance to the bedside in intensive care, I’ve learned how to bring order to chaos and support those who need it most—patients, families, and colleagues alike.

I pride myself on being both a compassionate caregiver and a steady leader. My background in EMS taught me to act decisively and think critically in high-stakes situations, while my ICU experience has deepened my commitment to holistic, team-based care. As a relief charge nurse and mentor, I focus on creating a supportive environment for my team and advocating for the needs of both staff and patients.

Teaching is a true passion of mine—I love leading EKG classes and precepting new nurses. I believe the best teachers are those who’ve learned through experience—and I’m not afraid to share the lessons I’ve learned (including the mistakes) to help others grow with confidence and clarity.
