Schoolservice

  • GSLT Faculty Sponsor: Berkmar High School, June 2024, present, I have recently started the process of sponsoring the Gwinnett Student Leadership Team for Berkmar High School after they lost their sponsor. The team meets with teams from around the county and with the Chamber of Commerce and other community agencies to learn leadership skills and awareness about community issues.
  • Red Cross Blood Drive Coordinator: Pinecrest Academy 2015-2020, I have been in charge of the Red Cross Blood Drive since 2015. This includes leading the group in recruitment, scheduling the facilities, administration of the appointment sign-up, assigning duties to the group, and monitoring the group and facility before and during the drive.
  • SAT testing supervisor: Pinecrest Academy 2015-2020, Responsible for the running of the SAT on campus. Includes the recruitment and training of associate supervisors and proctors, distribution and returning of test materials, and facility management during testing.

Coaching

  • Head Coach Boys Volleyball: Berkmar High School, 2022-2024, Started and ran the boy's volleyball club program. This included getting permission to change the structure of 2nd period to allow for practice, scheduling games, developing practices and maintaining finances. Wrote multiple grants to gain $1500 in funding to help with the program.
  • Assistant Coach Girls Volleyball: Berkmar High School, 2020-2023, Includes teaching skills, and techniques of volleyball. Developed practices and workouts in conjunction with the head coach. Was the lead coach for 9th grade team 2020, JV team 2021-2023. I also oversaw the managers and was responsible for teaching the duties including scoring and judging duties.
  • Head Fencing Coach: Pinecrest Academy, August 2013-2020, Includes teaching fencing to new students and giving lessons. Running of practices, developing practices and exercises to further student abilities. Recruiting of new students. Grew team from 4 to 15 members and created a middle school program. Finishes include 3rd place individual male at the state championship, 11th place individual female at state, and 6th place female team at state.
  • Head Golf Coach HS Varsity Boys and Girls, Middle School Boys and Girls: Pinecrest Academy, February 2014-2019, Includes working with new golfers on swing, course management and rule knowledge. Includes scheduling of matches, transporting students to matches. Grew the varsity boys' program to maximum allowable number per team, started women’s varsity program, and middle school program.
