My tasks as a Shipping and Receiving Assistant varied. I was responsible for keeping track of the orders coming in and out every day and making sure all documentation for them was correct. However, I also helped as a translator in the plant during this time. Many workers spoke either only English or Spanish, so my expertise in both served a beneficial purpose.

As the assistant to the CFO, my work consisted of various topics involving QuickBooks such as entering checks and bills, completing bank reconciliations, and more. During this time, I was able to become quite accustomed to the entire accounting process.

My friend Smith Sanford and I started our own boiled peanuts business at the age of 15 and continued it into college. I was responsible for everything from cooking the peanuts to delivering them. Furthermore, I was responsible for keeping track of the books.
