OTR Truck Driver (1.2 Years)
IMG Trucking
01.2024 - 03.2025
After completing a rigorous 240-hour CDL certification program and spending 40 days OTR under the supervision of a licensed Western Express trainer, I was thoroughly equipped for 6 months of professional, safe, and disciplined driving.
Eager to expand my expertise, I transitioned to a small-fleet company, IMG, where I perfected my driving skills and adaptability to various weather conditions. During my tenure, I maintained a 99% on-time delivery rate and logged an additional 100,000 verified miles across the continental U.S., demonstrating my commitment to efficiency, precision, and safety on the road.
With a combined total of 20 months on the open road, I made the heartfelt decision to leave IMG in pursuit of a local position that would allow me to prioritize my family. In exchange, I’m determined to bring my level of extensive experience, exceptional time management skills, readiness to work 14-hour shifts, and impeccable safety record to the table.
OTR Truck Driver (6 Months)
Western Express
08.2023 - 01.2024
In an industry where opportunities for inexperienced drivers are few and far between, I was eager/flexible to seize any job that came my way!
At Western Express, I spent nearly 40 days on the road with an experienced, licensed trainer. Jumping headfirst into the many responsibilities of an OTR driver, my first day included a hail storm through Dallas, TX & surviving rush hour in Atlanta, quite the pop quiz!
In 6 Months, I mastered the challenges of blindside backing, driving in winter snow storms at night through the Rocky's, Louisiana FOG, navigating the tight streets of Brooklyn/Queens, NY, and in due time, maneuvering with ease through the narrow, winding roads of New England and Seattle, WA.
My first-month solo after training was a dedicated route from Miami-Boston via I-95 (aka: the worst route *in terms of traffic volume*)
These challenges QUICKLY enhanced my skill level, taking routes experienced drivers would often refuse!
With over 50,000 safe miles, I completed my 6 months of experience, often spending up to 8 weeks on the road with minimal home time.

🚨 Availability 🚨
I am seeking a schedule of three (3 DAYS) 14-hour shifts, whether consecutive or non-consecutive, totaling a 42-hour workweek. Over the past two years, I have spent too much time away from my family, and while I need to maintain my income, it is essential for me to find a balance that allows for more time with them.
This schedule aligns with my current needs, and as circumstances evolve, I will be able to offer greater flexibility in the future. I appreciate your understanding and consideration.
