Summary

I started as a seasonal package handler in September 1996 in the Suffolk facility. Continued on as preloader while earning a Mechanical Engineering degree from Stony Brook University in 2003. In 2003 I accepted a full time service provider position. I was promoted to full time Plant Engineering Specialist position in 2004 in the Nassau facility. I worked in the PE department in the Nassau, Melville, and Suffolk facilities as a Specialist before being promoted to full time Supervisor in 2007. I was assigned to multiple Long Island facilities as PE Supervisor and then as the North Atlantic District Project Engineer. I was promoted to Plant Engineering Facilities Engineer in 2014 responsible for the 43rd St and Manhattan South Facilities until May 2016 when I accepted the position of East Region Project Manger.

Lawnside Hub Modernization 12/1/2024 - 4/27/2026

The project included the removal of approximately 90% of the existing conveyor system, small sort mezzanine expansion, server room relocation, construction of new control room, seven new outbound doors, and GLD/GUD platform as well as fire suppression upgrades. New automated conveyor system is made up of four primary sorters, four outbound sorters three of which are compound sorters, fully belted irreg system, and ACB addition to existing legacy Intralox ARB.

Chelmsford Automated Small Sort 12/1/2023 ‐ 6/30/2025
The project was to install two SLS with ACB where the existing small sort was located in two phases. Phase one required the expansion of existing mezzanine, removal of one of two conventional small sort areas, installation of new feeds with flow splitter, and providing additional capacity to the existing small sort in order to continue to operate 4 sorts. Phase two required the construction of a new temporary small sort area and a temporary DA area in order to demo the second existing small sort.

PHL Air Hub GSE Staging Expansion 4/1/2023 ‐ 5/31/2024
Successfully managed the expansion of the air ramp at the PHL gateway to increase staging for ground support equipment and expand employee parking. The project included 300,000 SF of paving and a complex stormwater system due to proximity to Delaware River. During construction, we encountered a large amount of unsuitable soils as well because of the location.

Franklin, MA 10k Conventional Facility 2/1/2022 ‐ 3/17/2023
Successfully managed and deployed Franklin 10k Conventional Facility. The project included tenant improvements to a leased facility including new offices, restrooms, and new conveyor system with 10 unload doors, 4 metro runouts, and 3 PDs.

Spring Valley 5k Conventional Spinoff 2/1/2022 ‐ 10/18/2022
Successfully managed and deployed second phase of Spring Valley 5k Spinoff in time for peak of 2022. The project included, new primary unload, one additional metro runout, electrical service upgrade, and auto shop.

Yonkers 21k Automated Facility 12/1/2020 ‐ 1/31/2022
Successfully managed $23M GC contract for the Yonkers Automated Facility. The project included significant interior and exterior improvements including structural column relocation, electrical service upgrade, new interior offices and restrooms, auto shop as well as new roof and paving.

Metro Queens Automated Package Center 2/5/2020 ‐ 11/6/2020
Successfully managed and deployed the fully automated 14K package center in Maspeth, NY in time for peak of 2020. The project included significant GC work, conveyor installation, and electrical service upgrades.

Island City Automated Small Sort 3/25/2019 - 3/30/20

The project was to install two SLS where the existing Preload small sort was located and expand mezzanine. Challenges included the relocation of existing legacy SSLAW units, installation of forty two structural columns through the roof over the primary with manually installed footings, use of complex rigging system to install joists and girders all while the facility operated. Additionally, almost all of UPS commissioning was performed remotely due to the pandemic.

Successfully managed and deployed new automated small sort ahead of peak need.

Maspeth 2018 Peak Package Center 8/1/2018 ‐ 10/22/2018
Successfully managed and deployed 90 car temporary peak package center in leased facility in time to meet peak need despite multiple setbacks because of unforeseen facility conditions.

Successfully managed and deployed new automated small sort with very aggressive schedule ahead of peak need.

Successfully managed and deployed new 10K Hub in a Box in time to meet peak need. Complete facility construction from undeveloped site work to fully operational facility was completed in 3 months.
