  • Launched and maintained a full comics 'boutique' section in the stores making Hastings Entertainment the largest Direct Market Comic Book retailer in the world, physically located in more markets than any competitor in the industry

  • During this time, James developed and maintained a successful Variant Comic program with many of the major publishers that allowed Hastings to carry exclusive variant comic books with special covers in the stores and online
