I am a diligent and committed employee who has experience working in a professional field. I understand the meaning of hard work, dedication, safety, and spent nearly 13 years in a career where integrity was everything. I carry myself in a manner that would bring pride and honor to both the company I work for and my family. My goal is to meet and exceed every expectation that is set for my position. I am eager to learn, and firmly believe that I can be trained to do anything. Finally, I understand the importance of a team mindset, and to both value and respect every person, regardless of title. I have learned through my career the importance of the "little things," and to never consider a job or task to be "beneath me."
Drove a Class B, quad drop axel dump truck to make deliveries to both construction sites and home deliveries. The product I delivered ranged from rock, sand, asphalt, road paving, and hauling off top soil/debris from job sites. This position also required a high level of customer service, precision backing, and being flexible to adjust to our customers' ever changing needs.
I am the founder and CEO of The Ruach Consulting Firm. I train churches and schools on how to defend/prepare for active shooter/active threat, as well as create security plans for these locations. The training includes an on site analysis, power point presentation, and real life scenarios.

I drove a Tractor Trailer making over the road deliveries to Dollar General stores in Virginia and North Carolina. The distribution center was based out of South Boston Virginia, and would require pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle and trailers. I was required to take photographs of the trailer prior to leaving the center, and notate any damage. I would then deliver 36-43k lbs of product by hand for three to five different stores, keep track of the number of "rolltainers" that were delivered, as well as the number of empty "rolltainers" that were picked up. All information was entered into a tablet, which also included drive times, delivery times, breaks, and down times. This position required precision backing since a number of Dollar General stores were in shopping centers, or were in buildings that were not originally designed for Dollar General. This position also required a high level of customer service and patience, since a majority of the stores were not ready for deliveries. This would often require that I assist store managers in moving product so that the delivery could be made.
Obtained my permit and Class A CDL through this school. I was taught roadway driving, straight line backing, off-set backing, parallel parking, and 90 degree parking all with a 53 foot trailer attached. After completing the training, I was offered to come back in a year for an instructor position.
While employed with the Lexington County Sheriff's Department, I worked patrol, School Resource Officer for Airport High School, Major Crimes Detective, and finally a Patrol Sergeant. As a Sergeant, I supervised three deputies, assisted with investigations, warrant service, fugitive tracking, and calls for service. I was also required to approve reports, manage time cards, review body camera footage, address citizen complaints, and maintain region stats for all of the shifts in that region. The stats were very detailed and were required by command staff biweekly. I also oversaw the training of new deputies and made sure that I was the last one to go off duty.
As a Major Crimes Detective, I specialized in Domestic Violence Cases, but also investigated homicides, suicides, missing persons, overdoses, and armed robberies. I also had experience in investigating property crimes as well. This position required a high level of organization and time management. Your attention to detail, your ability to multi-task, problem solve, and maintain all documentation involved in a case is what defined you as a detective.
As a School Resource Officer, I oversaw 1400 students and 200 staff members on my own. I investigated assaults, theft, child pornography, as well as security for the school. I also trained a majority of the students and staff on how to responded to an active shooter/active threat situation. Finally, I was responsible for the security of all football, baseball, basketball, and soccer games at the school. This would require me to manage between 4 to 12 deputies during the games. I would coordinate their positions and be responsible to address any issues that came up.
