Following my high school graduation in 2024, I stepped into the role of primary caregiver for my mother after her cancer diagnosis. With my sister balancing education and work, my younger brother focused on high school and athletics, and my father working full-time to support medical expenses, I took on the responsibility of being present for my mom each day and supporting her through treatment and recovery.
