Summary

In my 15 years of playing soccer, I've developed a strong base in discipline, leadership, and analytical thinking, which are key for success in accounting. My experience in sports has highlighted the value of being precise, working well with a team, and making strategic plans. These skills fit perfectly with handling financial duties, crunching numbers, and boosting a team's performance in the quick-moving world of accounting. I'm skilled at overcoming obstacles, sticking to tight deadlines, and being meticulous with details. All of these skills combined have made me into the person I am today.

Work History

Volunteer

Ronald McDonald House
02.2024 - 03.2024
  • At Ronald McDonald House, I spent time cooking for families dealing with tough health issues. It taught me a lot about caring for others, setting up good meals, and how food helps when you're sick. I learned how important it is to have a big heart, work well with a team, and stay cool under pressure when you're trying to help.

Volunteer

La Jolla Impact
01.2024 - 02.2024
  • Helping my coach with the younger team and tryouts, I got better at leading, organizing, and figuring out who's got what it takes. It was great to help these young athletes grow, teaching them about being part of a team, staying disciplined, and playing fair. And during tryouts, I got really good at spotting talent and making plans to bring out the best in everyone.

Tutor

Manhattan Beach
06.2021 - 08.2021
  • Tutoring a kid in math and soccer sharpened my ability to explain things clearly, be patient, and adjust my teaching to what works best for them. It was all about creating a space where learning was encouraged and everyone felt supported, whether we were hitting the books or the ball. It showed me how being flexible in teaching can make a big difference.

Skills

  • As a committed Division 1 athlete, I've developed a unique mix of skills in communication, leadership, and teamwork that shine both on and off the field Competing at a high level has taught me the importance of clear communication with teammates and coaches, creating a unified strategy and a culture of respect and understanding I've consistently taken the lead to inspire my team, leading by example with my commitment and facing challenges with resilience and smart planning Teamwork has become second nature to me, thanks to endless hours of intense training and matches, teaching me to value different viewpoints, work well with others, and help our team aim for shared objectives My time as an athlete has also sharpened my time management, discipline, and flexibility, qualities I'm excited to apply in a professional context to foster success and pursue excellence

Golf

Golfing, a hobby I love sharing with my dad and friends, really highlights how much personal connections, teamwork, and social networking matter. It's sharpened my ability to strategize and stay focused, while also boosting my value of teamwork and friendship beyond work. This sport mirrors my view that balancing work commitment with strong personal ties can enrich work culture.
