General Background:
I joined Brand Fuel as an online services coordinator with my first position being invoicing and customer service. Within my first 6 months at Brand Fuel, I was transferred into a new role as the accounts receivable specialist. It was there that I re-discovered my interest in accounting/clerical work, and learned many valuable skills all relevant to the field.
Building off of the knowledge I gained from University; I learned invoicing, reporting, collections, PO procurement, purchasing, budgeting, and a further many skills in both the AR and AP realms of accounting. I was also directly involved with receiving payments for the company, and I personally collected hundreds of thousands of past due payments alone during my time there.
Furthermore, I became proficient in accounting and invoicing software's such as Quickbooks, SAP Ariba, WorkNexus, Coupa, Basware, and Commonsku. These are the softwares that this company made use of, but I feel confident in my ability to adapt to any differing software with a small bit of training/experience.
