Has experience competing within Classical music environments and a background in orchestral performance. Has led and performed in chamber and ensemble groups dedicated to achieving the highest level of playing possible. Has played and pursued violin for 14 years.
Performed various works involving orchestra and operatic ensembles from The Merry Widow by Lehar to Carmina Burana by Orff. Additionally, a cycle containing contemporary pieces from current Jacobs composition students was performed.
Learned and performed the first viola part of Mendelssohn's Octet within the time-frame of a month at the final gala of the Jacobs School of Music Summer Strings Program for pre-college students.
Led and participated within the 2022-2023 activities of the Indiana University Violin Virtuosi under the directorship of Mimi Zweig.
Learned to play advanced orchestral repertoire within a professional setting. This repertoire included Shostakovich's Fifth Symphony and Brahms's Tragic Overture. Done during Undergraduate studies.
