Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall well being of the property. Manager oversees all areas of the 88 acre property,insuring the property is always at its best. Insuring all tracks are in premium shape, grounds around tracks are safe, all buildings are up to code, all emergency plans are in place, all landscape , lawn, and sweeping of parking lots are completed regularly, air conditioning and heating are properly functioning, cleaning of buildings is completed daily, all lights are working and exterior lights are timed correctly, all plumbing is in correct working order with no leaks, painting of interior and exterior are done regularly, maintaining all water features, and overseeing any other projects that would include the Bondurant property.
Facilities Manager also communicates on a regular basis with Neighboring businesses, Fire Marshal, vendors, Tribal municipalities, Governmental municipalities, contractors, subcontractors, OSHA, EPA, and any other entities regarding permitting, inspecting, or testing.
Operations Manager is responsible for the over all daily operations of the school, and makes sure the property and business is functioning at its highest level. Operations Manager is in constant communication with all areas of the school
Communications include, but not limited to*Marketing- Making sure that everything being scheduled will work with existing classes, events, or corporate groups being held in the museum.
*Accounting- Overseeing facilities purchase orders, Billing, Vendor information, and insuring Budgets are operating within correct parameters. *Human Resources- Collaborating with HR on payroll issues, insuring employee issues are handled in a timely manner, insure all employees are being treated fairly, sexual harassment prevention programs, promotions, and discipline. *Shop- Constant communications with shop for any needs, issues, new productivity, equipment needing to be repaired or replaced.
*Executives/Owners- Keeping in constant contact, so that all are aware of all productivity positive or negative.
Facilities manager was responsible for the upkeep and daily maintenance of the 88 acre facility. Managing 2-3 employees in the forward progress of making the facility look the best that it could. Responsible for making sure daily activities got done: including but not limited to: Clean main office building, hallways, lobby, classrooms, bathrooms, parking lots, and museum. General Landscaping of all common areas and track areas including but not limited to lawn care, plants and water features as well as weed control, general cleanup and sprinkler system maintenance. Minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.minor plumbing maintenance replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc.). Set up museum for events going on during the week, as in; keep fridge filled with water, set-up and tear down of tables and chairs as needed for groups. Set-up for employee events: Food tables, TV’s, projector screens, etc.
Operations Manager was responsible for running all aspects of the 700 acre facility, including but not limited to: Track rentals, suite rentals, running events with 20,000 + patrons, working with law officers for entrance/exit strategies, Vendor coordination, Racer coordination, sponsor coordination, overseeing day to day operations with 10-20 employees, and working with Governmental and Tribal entity's (OSHA, EPA, GRIC, Permitting, etc.) Quarterly testing for well and lake water, scheduling, hiring, promoting, employee disciplinary actions, plumbing, and electrical.
Track Operator had all of the responsibilities of the Operation Manager along with additional duties specific to track coordination and NHRA.
Track Operator scheduled staff for all events, organized all track preparation, (Timing system, scraping, gluing, Lighting, etc..) scheduled announcers, coordinated with all departments with concerns and issues, worked with Sponsors and Vendors, making sure all signs and verbiage were correct and in the correct spaces. Keeping strong relations with all Sponsors and Vendors, Organizing parking for all events, making sure all traffic signs were in place.
This is just an overview of Track Operators responsibilities, Track Operator made sure the entire facility was ready for any race at any time.
