• Responsible for day to day operations of the fire house and readiness of fire apparatus.

• Responsible for training and CE for personnel at the fire house and within the district.

•Responsible for cross training with other utility agencies.

• Responsible for incident command of major incidents.

•Provided clear concise public safety education to the general public.

• Hazmat Instructor for Operational procedures on the fire ground
• These classes are geared towards the student working on their Associates in Fire science
• The courses were instructed through the use of IFSTA guidelines and recommendations of this topic
• My own experience also played a large role in this process

• Developed and maintained close working relationships with members of press as it related to emergency incidents and some department affairs.

• Responsible for investigation of fire department personnel that allegedly violated department policies and guidelines.
• Worked with local,state and federal government.
• Responsible for written timeline and summary of events involving the investigation.

• Tactics and Strategies in relation to a potential fire/public safety hazard within the District
• I was able to collaborate with Excel experts by reaching out to their managers and technicians
• We then put together a game plan that put us all on the same page
• Both agencies compared Operational procedures and objectives as they relate to the mitigation of an emergency
• We looked at areas that made all tasks easier to manage based on span of control and working with possible multi agencies
• The results since have been a better line of communication from their Dispatchers to ours and visa versa
• Communication and Training is key when comes to all safety
