Work History

Delivery Driver

Intelliquick Delivery
Phoenix, AZ
02.2015 - 12.2018
  • I would pick up/drop off pharmaceutical meds to retirement facilities as well as other medical supplies, lab specimens, too and from hospitals all over the eastern part of Arizona, legal documents and deliver wherever needed.
  • I drove locally all over the valley until I acquired a route and drove to the border of New Mexico and back, daily, picking up lab specimens to bring back to Phoenix for testing.
  • It was an average of 440 miles daily and sometimes 500+.
  • I only left that position due to a personal injury that caused me a permanent knee disability.
  • Maintained excellent punctuality, customer service, and efficiency, receiving top ratings for 48 months and then had my injury.
  • Served an average of 150 deliveries per day while driving up to 300 miles daily in the beginning, when doing the daily local routes for the pharmacy as well as different types of deliveries when not needed at the pharmacy.
  • The longer route had fewer stops, but more miles.

Lead Technician

US Digital Media
Phoenix, Arizona
09.2012 - 01.2015
  • I was the lead technician one of many departments the company had. They produced custom-designed media on flash drives, CD media, as well as online media, and loaded audio media onto devices in mass amounts.
  • I managed the CD portion of the company. I was responsible for "burning the content" onto the cd media, in mass amounts. Usually in the thousands per order. I would print the labels onto the discs with a very intricate print machine, quality test everything and then with a small team, we would package everything for the client or to be shipped to the client.
  • Anytime the work was slow or I might be ahead of schedule, I would help other departments with the same tasks.
  • I learned how to use and maintain a $30k print machine, work with really great people and manage a team in my own department. The company was downsizing, and unfortunately, a lot of employees, like myself, were laid off for a labor reduction, and the company has since been sold.

Apprentice Manager

Chipotle Restaurant
Phoenix, Arizona
08.2008 - 12.2012
  • Supervised daily operations to ensure efficient service and food quality.
  • Trained new employees on restaurant policies and customer service standards.
  • Managed inventory and ordered supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Monitored employee performance and provided feedback to improve productivity.
  • Conducted regular inspections of equipment for maintenance and safety compliance.
  • Mentored and coached interns and newly hired team members on office procedures and computer systems.
  • Developed and implemented training programs for new apprentices.
  • Delegated assignments and coordinated work of junior team members.

Lead Electrician

Labor Ready Staffing
Phoenix, Arizona
01.2000 - 08.2000
  • I worked for a staffing agency, which I believe was Labor Ready Staffing Agency. but it is hard to recall. They contracted me to a trailer company called Wells Cargo when they had a production plant here in Phoenix. I was the lead electrician. They built cargo utility trailers, toy haulers, travel trailers and emergency trailers of all sizes.
  • I installed high-power, high-voltage onboard generators for various purposes and reasons, and I was responsible for making sure they were wired correctly according to the plans/specs. Tempe Fire and Rescue had six emergency trailers built for mobile rapid response and rescue, and I built the last two of them.

Field Service Technician

Summit Waste
Phoenix, Arizona
10.1999 - 01.2000
  • Summit Waste was a small waste company in the valley that custom built trash compactors and box bailers. My main responsibility was to hook up the high voltage control boxes and panels. Maintain them, diagnose and repair them if/when there was an issue. We had contracts with Walgreens, Frys Electronics and various other retail stores as well as hospitals all across Az, some of which took us into other states.

Apprentice Electrician

Mitchell Electric Llc
Phoenix, Arizona
05.1999 - 09.1999
  • I was learning the residential side of electrical. My responsibilities included what's called "roping the house" (while the home is still being built), which is running all the proper Romex wire throughout the residence and into the main panel, according to the homeowners' build specifications. This is considered the rough-in. After a few months, I began doing the trim-work which is installing the breakers, connecting them and making sure the panel looks neat, clean and correct.

Electrician's Assistant

Hagarty Electric
Phoenix, Arizona
01.1999 - 06.1999
  • My main responsibilities were to do whatever the crew leader needed me to do. Haul tools, dig trenches, wrap pipe, run/pull fish tape and generally keep the jobsite clean and organized. I would say this was the job that sparked my interest in the field of electrical work.

Mechanic

Jeff's Automotive
Phoenix, AZ
01.1995 - 01.1999
  • I started off as an apprentice mechanic at a young age and worked my way up while learning different skills of the trade.
  • Learning how to remove, disassemble and then replace vehicle transmissions (R&R).
  • I quickly moved from just learning with the owner, from watching over or being involved, to doing all the work independently and unassisted.
  • I learned engine removal and replacement, what different components were for, how they worked and their purposes in respect to how combustion engines work.
  • How to properly diagnose and do repairs, use scan tools to help as well as some 'old school' methods of how to diagnose mechanical issues.
  • The owner, my mentor has since passed away, but over the years, I have continued to learn as much as I can about automotive repairs and still work as a mechanic, when the need arises.
