At the University of Texas at Austin, I honed my analytical skills through rigorous laboratory experiments in biology and chemistry, enhancing teamwork and fostering a collaborative environment. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and known for my customer service acumen, I excel in environments requiring precision and a friendly, professional demeanor.
Participated in 2 separate introductory labs required for my desired major - Introductory Biology and Chemistry Laboratory. Occurring over 2 separate semesters, we often worked in groups on our experiments. For the chemistry lab we did a new experiment each week, ranging from density to acid base chemistry and titrations. As for our biology lab, it was a semester-long project in which we sampled and studied cultures of bacteria from a sample of dirt in a burned area. I believe these labs were quite helpful in the fact that they helped make a learning environment fun and encouraged teamwork amongst my fellow students.
