I lost my father at a very young age. This made me mature very rapidly. After Graduating I joined the US Army I served one tour from Iraq into Afghanistan until I received word my mother was stabbed 44 times fighting for her life. I flew home and raced to the hospital. She did survive but she was left with nothing. I stayed home taking care of my mom. I enrolled in Grayson County College and received my associates degree in Electronics and Engineering. I started working for Omega Industries about four months after college. I began as a fitter welder making nine dollars an hour just to support my mother. I rose up through the ranks year after year until I became head foreman of the fitting and welding shop. At this point I was in charge of daily manufacturing, production and quality assurance. I was also lead safety personnel of the entire facility. I held that position for about 3 years before climbing up the ladder to becoming head of shipping and receiving. I then transformed into an assistant plant manager role as well as still holding all the other job duties and responsibilities. On 6/18/21 I was bending down picking up L brackets which are like 30-50Lb each all of a sudden my back popped and that was the end of that. I've been on Workers comp until a few days ago because I reached MMI which is Maximum Medical Improvement.
I've been collecting sports cards my entire life. Especially Michael Jordan, but then In 1996 I first saw a guy doing incredible things with a basketball. He was higher than life. he was Kobe Bryant. At that moment I was hooked, I bought every single rookie card I could afford. I collected hard until life was much more important. We all have those kind of experiences where we take a break from collecting. Those cards were put into the closet and forgot about. Then in 2003 we we're fortunately able to watch as the chosen one. Started collecting his rookies then life stepped in again forcing me to take a step back into reality because bills don't stop. All the cards were stacked in boxes in my closet. Boom Kobe Died i was heart broken because he was my inspiration to never give up I cried for days. Then a few months pass by and Covid hit and cards skyrocketed. All the cards i had stashed away became like gold. It was enough that i had to bring in massive steel safes into my house. I've created a few good eBay accounts and Instagram accounts that i buy sell and trade on looking forward to the future of the hobby.
I'm a trusted person you don't have to baby sit. You want it done I get it done no questions, no excuses just results.
Thank you for the most important thing in this world...Your time!
