I was awarded two unit citations for two separate incidents. My first citation was in May of 2023, Myself along with multiple other members of the Crabtree Volunteer Fire Department were awarded a Unity Citation for rescuing a mentally challenged adult male from a old mine shaft that he had fallen in while mowing his yard outside. The second award was in December of 2024 for assisting in the recovery mission of the elderly female who had fallen into a mine shaft whilst looking for her pet cat. My company being the Head of the Westmoreland County Trench & Collapse Rescue Team.
