• Designed, Engineered and installed various Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning as well as Hydronic systems for a wide variety of residential, commercial and industrial clients

• Subcontracted with Alcatraz Services LLC to take responsibilities for all Island based MEP systems(Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing)
• Maintained all 4 electrical generators and their diesel storage and piping infrastructure. Upgraded all plumbing, piping and pumping for domestic water as well as sewage pumping and removal from the Island
• Coordinated complete rebuild of 2 main Generators and wired in load banks to accomplish a "burn in " period before restoring them to normal service
• Repaired and maintained a fleet of all electric TUGS and trailers to ferry ADA tourists throughout the Island
• Overhauled, barge located, docking and ramp systems for embarking and disembarking @ 5000 tourists daily from the ferries.
• Trained and motivated employees to perform daily business functions.
• Collaborated with clients to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Negotiated fees and contracts to reach mutually beneficial agreements with client and The National Park Service
• Developed and maintained user documentation monthly to establish receivables from The National Park Service.

• Elected to the position of Harbormaster to oversee some upgrades and necessary improvements to our harbor. This is a volunteer position
• Performed all duties associated with this position including, but not limited to, keeping the harbor fully rented, setting up volunteer work parties, repairing old and failing infrastructure, communicating in a clear and understandable way what needs have to be met immediately and in the near time future,
• Subcontracting for 13 Pile replacements which included moving quite a few floating homes so the pile driving barge could access our inner piles.
• Realigning one finger pier to accommodate one floating home being installed on a new concrete barge that needed more room due to wind loads than in its prior slip.
• Engineered refloating of a sunken floating home that sank due to weather and a domestic water leak, This was accomplished with input from the SFPD Marine Patrol, SF Port Hazardous waste and all volunteer work force. Due to the 3rd Street Light Rail Project, the 4th St Bridge was non operable, so it was accomplished with rigging, come alongs, pumps and divers to refloat this home. This Floating Home is still occupied today.

As an air balancer my responsibility was to optimize mid to large and very large HVAC systems.

• As a third party supplier to contractors, building owners, government entities and engineering firms I was tasked with tuning up new and existing systems and producing detailed engineering reports for final acceptance of all Air and Water systems involved.
• Programmed computerized energy management systems and verified proper functionality.
• Optimized performance by balancing systems and calibrating controls.
• Projects included, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Oceanside Sewage Plant SF, Clean Room Certification for Chiron Corporation in San Juan Puerto Rico, The Luxor Pyramid Hotel (2000 room) expansion Life Safety System certification. Among many other projects
• Liasioned with Design engineers, Contractors and Owners to complete projects to the satisfaction of all concerned

• Started a new service division for an existing union sheet metal and HVAC contractor.
• Responsible for advertising and building this new aspect of this established contractor. Mainly responding to service calls for heating and air conditioning breakdowns. Supported our installation side by doing all high voltage wiring and gas line installs, as well as equipment startups and final inspections from SF Department of Building Inspection.
• Maintained professional demeanor by staying calm when addressing unhappy or angry customers.
