Because of the seriousness of covid-19 I Bay Alarm was unable to send me to their training facility in Concord Ca . I was never able to receive my alarm certification .

As a network cabling specialist my job duties included finding the best rout for network cables ,running and securing the cables , terminating cables with rj45 connectors and testing cables , connecting cables to router and computers , smart televisions and video game systems and security systems . I also was responsible for tagging and labeling all cables ,sealing cable entery locations .

As a security installer my responsibilities included installing security DVR head inside of home , installing cameras on outside of home selecting optimum locations for full coverage of property and entryways , connecting cameras to security DVR via cables and dressing excess cables in so as to not stick out , cabling and connecting security to network router on property to allow for remote access via smart phone application and storage in the cloud if desired .I also was responsible for commissioning new system and setting up external alarm functions including lights sirens etc.

• Completed acceptance testing on new equipment using Tbirds to check for timing slips ,bit error rate when testing switching functions of new fiber rings,t1 t3 oc3 oc12 oc48 circuits ,Optical time domain reflector to view section of fiber to inspect new splices and look for loss on existing fiber routes for repair to improve light levels between offices ,Fiber optic light meter adding attenuation when needed as per recommended equipment receiver levels ,multi meter to read power levels when setting up rectifiers and batteries ohm meter to check power cable for foreign potential before termination in power board or to ground bar

While with Asplundh I was responsible for trimming and removing trees that were in the power line right of ways. My job duties included securing property owners consent to access right of ways . Trimming trees from a rope and harness top down method, using a bucket truck to trim and remove trees where truck access was available ,using a tree chipper to chip removed tree limbs and trunks ,spraying tree stumps with stump killer so trees don't regrow requiring further maintenance of right of way . Ass a crew chief of a High Line Crew I was responsible for meeting with power company Line Maintenance supervisor to receive and go over maps indicating where I would be dispatching my Asplundh work crews to remove danger trees along High Tension Power Line right of ways ,maintaining chain saws , wood chippers , all climbing gear , conducting weekly safety discussions in adherence with Osha safety standards to keep fellow crew members safe as well as attending Red Cross seminars to stay informed on how and when to provide first aid .

.Used tools such as table saw, radial arm saw, sliding table saw ,planer ,jointer, molder , sanders, drills , drill press, router ,all imaginable hand tools to build custom hardwood cabinets and furniture . I was responsible for maintenance on all tools in shop table saw, planers ,jointers ,sanders , Watkin 5 head molder ,sawdust removal system , air compressor , spray room ventilation system ,spray guns for finishes and for contact adhesives ,air operated glue guns, I ran a forklift to unload trucks of rough sawn lumber witch we would mill into dimensional boards for cabinet shop use . Responsible for setting up and running Watkin 5 head planer molder by setting up 5 individual four blade cutter heads ,changing blades on cutter heads to either cut standard wood stock and also blades for floor molding, crown molding , corner molding , quarter round and custom moldings that customers could design the blades for .

. Worked in cabinet building department using table saws ,radial arm saws, jointers , routers, planers, sanders, molders building custom cabinetry for banks ,museums , hospitals, city buildings , hotel lobbies . Worked in lamination department to laminate cabinets and counters with Formica laminate ,learned to make Corian counter tops .
