
I have worked for the Town of Hempstead for just over twenty years. During the course of my employment I have been assigned with various tasks both in the field and presently in the office. My assigned tasks include: Public Works projects as they relate to roads, drainage and beautification, Building Department application, proposed survey and final survey review, maintain Parking Field Atlas Maps, generate numerical address assignments, TOH MS4 SWPPP review and compliance.
During my employment with the Town of Hempstead, I have maintained a small solo law practice. I am a general practitioner. The majority of my practice revolves around Commercial and Residential Real Estate, Business and Criminal Law.
Civil Engineer II my current duties:
Review all Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans.
MS4 Contact Person for the Town of Hempstead.
Review building applications and final surveys for residential and commercial construction.
Maintain Atlas Maps for Town of Hempstead Parking Fields.
Assign new addresses and address all change of address requests within Town of Hempstead.
Maintain a small private general practice firm.
Criminal law, Commercial and Residential Real Estate transactions.
Currently, I serve as Vice President of the Sewanhaka Central High School District Board of Education and simultaneously a trustee of the New Hyde Park-Garden City Park Board of Education. I served as president of the NHP-GCP BOE during the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school years. I have served as a trustee for the past 10 years and currently in the second year of a three year term. As well as serving on the Board of Education, I have held various positions on the executive committee of the NHPMHS PTSA, 2012-2020.
One of my proudest community accomplishments is successfully removing Election Polling from all schools within the NHP-GCP UFSD and also NHPMHS, SCHSD. I was afforded the opportunity to give oral testimony before the NYS Senate Standing Committees on Crime Victims, Crime and Corrections and Elections Public Hearing Hicksville (Nassau County) October 2, 2018.
