Over 40 yrs experience in the design of Commercial Aviation and Avionics Systems. Strong business acumen and is the Inventor/Co-inventor of 58 U.S. Patents associated with Commercial Aviation Wireless Data Links and is the inventor of the Harris Ground Data Link System (GDL) which has become known throughout the Commercial Aviation industry as the “Wireless Gatelink” System. He is also the inventor of a Wireless Engine Monitoring System (WEMS) for commercial and military aircraft turbine engines that receives full-flight "Big Engine Data" and automatically identifies anomalous aircraft engine operations.

L3Harris Consent Agreement
L3Harris entered into a Consent Agreement with the U.S. Department of State to settle alleged violations of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”). Violations, were mostly related to unauthorized exports and violations of terms and conditions of ITAR agreements and licenses.
Supported L3Harris Internal review of trade compliance resources including Jurisdiction/Classification review of all manufactured parts and verification of all parts being exported. Reporting to CEO, BOD and DDTC regarding compliance with Consent Agreement. L3Harris was assessed a $13M civil penalty, with $6.5M suspended for certain compliance costs.
