
Dedicated follower of Christ and have served over 6 years at Hope Church, in children's ministry. Seeking to use my gifts and teaching abilities to bring others into a relationship with God. Particularly interested in working with children as this is where God's calling me to be and there is several years experience working with children and families. Our children are a precious gift from God and need to have a leader that will love, teach, encourage, and lead by example.
*Scheduling and Coordinating all the Volunteers for all 3 services every Sunday
*Recruiting New Volunteers for the Children's Ministry
*Decide on what Small Group Activities will be done for each age group each week based off of the BIble story.
*Purchase supplies for Small Group, Large Group, Game
*Put together the Small Group Boxes with Supplies so ready for the Small Group Leaders
*Decide on 2 Worship Songs
*Prepare all the Small Group Documents
*Prepare the Large Group Document
*Prepare the Take Home Sheets for Elementary Kids (K-3)
*Prepare the Take Home Sheets for Pre-Teen Kids (4-5)
*Prepare the PowerPoint
*Emailing all the Volunteers the Curriculum that they will need for their Small Group Assignments
*Prepare the week of for the Large Group portion of teaching the Bible Story. Will teach it at all three services along with doing the worship, game, announcements, rules
*If emergencies come up, find coverage for those spots, if no coverage, I would step in and cover the small group.
*Make sure both rooms were set up and ready to go prior to leaders and children arriving.
*Report attendance numbers to Pre-K Coordinator
*Problem solve when technical issues arise or other unforeseen issues happen
Events Are: Autumn Nights, Easter Eggstravaganza, and Vacation Bible School
Team Lead Duties:
*Contact and coordinate with volunteers prior to event
*Day of event, pray over the team and float around amongst the team to ensure everyone is okay and answers questions if the arise.
*Be available for emergencies with other teams
*After event meet with the team to follow up on how they felt it went.
*Help with set up and take down
Planning Duties:
*Go over the debriefing notes from prior year create spreadsheet of what worked and didn't work
*Create new calendar with dates on when things will need to start happening (signage printed, video announcements, sign up for volunteers)
*Set date for Team Rally
*Assist other planning team members as needed
*Developed gathering order and decided on what we would be doing each night based of curriculum provided
*Created PowerPoint
*Sent emails out each month to let the other two leaders know what they would be covering for that Wednesday night for the entire month
*Prep to do the Bible Story portion of the curriculum
*Teach the Bible Story
*Developed a fun way to help the K-3 to learn the books of the Bible by memorization. Then teach it.
*Create different worship songs each week to do with the children
* Design challenges and goals for children to meet (i.e. remember each weeks memory verse, returning their take
home sheets I give them, bringing their Bibles)
*Make sure the room is all set up and ready to go before children arrive
*Prior to service for the week, review the small group curriculum and the activities as often as needed to be prepared.
*Interact with children during the free time.
*Interact with parents or guardians as the children are dropped off.
*During large group, help to keep the children settled while speaker is talking.
*Participate in the games, worship, etc. Children will follow what we do
*Build a sense of community within your individual small groups.
*Make the space feel safe
*Reinforce what was talked about in the BIble Story and relate to our life today but in terms they will understand.
*Prior to service prepare by going over the Bible story as much as needed to be able to teach to the Children.
*Responsible for doing announcements, rules, and having children bring up offering
*Responsible for coming up with a Game
*Responsible for leading and coming up with 2 worship songs
*Tell the BIble Story
*Pray over the children and leaders
*Dismiss children and leaders to their small groups
Class consisted of 2-5 year olds
*Greeting of parent and child at door for warm hand off

*Responsible for camera and capturing the worship team and pastoral staff
*Communicate with other tech members through ear piece when issues arose
