Managed day to census and work load in an up and coming wound center. Worked closely with the Director of the clinic to maintain a balanced productivity, hiring and onboarding staff members and providers, monitoring and calculating physician RVU's, ordering supplies for the clinic, preparing for JCAHO inspections, marketing to other physician offices, and worked in staffing as needed. Worked with representatives from supply companies to ensure the patients received the most up to date wound therapies available.

PACU: Assist CRNA with safe waking up of patient after procedure. Monitor for life threatening changes while returning to hemostasis. Assist with pain control, teaching patients and family about wound care and what to expect after surgery.

PRE-OP: I initiate admission protocols, start IV\'s, prep the operative site, and give any pre op medications that have been ordered.

PACU: As a PACU nurse, I monitor for hemostability of patients after the mediate post-op period. monitor airway, provide pain control, dressing changes as needed, ventilator assistance as needed, assist anesthesia with nerve blocks. monitor for patients to become hemodynamically stable before either moving into post-op or transferring to the floor.

POST-OP:In this phase, I monitor for any potential problems that can arise after having surgery. I prepare the patient and family for being discharged by performing discharge teaching and making sure they understand the doctors orders.
