Learning occurs when students step outside their comfort zones, and my goal is to give students a space where each student feels safe to do so, without fear. As a teacher, it is my job to foster students’ individuality and interests to make my classroom a place that students can grow to be the best versions of themselves. I also believe it is my duty to ensure that childrens' social and emotional development is cultivated through modeling and the opportunity to express themselves in a positive way.
