Works under the general supervision of the Sleep Medical Director providing evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center diagnostics, therapeutic interventions. Collecting, analyze and integrate patient information in order to identify and meet the patients specific needs.

Applies surface electrodes to the patient according to procedure protocols. Explaining pre-testing and post-testing procedures. Maintains, prepares and calibrates all the equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and making adjustments. Monitoring the recording while routinely documenting observations, changes in procedure, and significant events to facilitate scoring.

Oversees, and performs difficult pediatric polysomnographic procedures and therapeutic interventions.

As a registered sleep technologist providing training to unregistered technicians.
