Past
I started in the OR in the summer of 2014 at the same hospital I'd been with for 3 years. I left in 2016 for a small surgery center where I quickly became the Charge Nurse. I left this position to begin Travel Nursing.
Present
I am relocating to Goodyear Arizona from Billings Montana to be closer to my mom and help her as her health declines. I am currently studying for the CNOR Exam.
Future
I began travel nursing in 2018 to pay for our son's college. He graduated in 2023 and I'm ready to leave travel behind and settle into a permanent position.
Additional Information
- Current Plans - Details, I am currently in Goodyear Arizona to spend time with my mother and help her navigate her senior years. I have been with her since the beginning of 2024 and am now looking to relocate permanently.
- Current Plans - Details, April to September of 2023 - One month in Europe vacationing, bilateral foot surgery with 12 weeks recovery, our son's destination wedding in Ireland, and assisting our son and daughter-in-law to move to Missouri and begin Graduate School. It was a very busy five months!
- Current Plans - Details, April to August of 2021 - I was on contract in Reno Nevada and my mother-in-law fell in her home causing life altering injuries. My husband was overwhelmed and I returned home to assist him in his time of need. Her injuries subsequently lead to her being placed in a nursing home and her eventual death.
- Current Plans - Details, March to May of 2020 - I was on contract in Florence Arizona when the Pandemic hit. The newly reopened Florence Hospital closed its single OR. When surgery restarted, I returned to a facility that I had previously worked at in Anaconda Montana.
