As a career firefighter, I have completed my 229 firefighter certification. Prior to that, as a volunteer, I completed my basic, intermediate, and advanced firefighter training. I am also a NYS hazardous material technician. While attending NYS FLSTP training, I obtained my Fire Instructor 1 training, as well as my Fire Officer 1 training. I have ProBoard certification in both of those as well. I also recently completed my Fire Officer II proboard certifiction and am looking towards my Fire Instructor II certification.
I believe I have both the physical and mental dexterity to perform all tasks required of this position. I am a current NYS career firefighter and obtain medical clearance and FIT testing yearly.
I look forward to moving into this next chapter of my fire service career.
