Provided short-term, situational, problem-solving, solution focused, life counseling services to active duty military members serving in all branches of the military, as well as the National Guard and Reserves, and their family members. • Conducted psycho-educational presentations focused on issues common to the military family including: deployment/reintegration, stress/coping, empathetic listening, grief/loss and other issues to commands, Family Readiness Groups (FRGs), Soldier Readiness Processing and other locations, as requested. • Facilitated communication and leadership trainings, modeled behavioral management techniques and provided feedback to staff, service members, and base leadership. • Evaluated and reported situations that met Duty-to Warn criteria such as suicidal ideations, physical and/or emotional abuse, neglect, and other situations that constitute risks of harm to self and/or others. • Informed leadership and service providers about the range of available programs and services, and how they may be accessed.
