Jamin Higgs

I've been with KeHE for just over 3 years and I love what I do.

There's been a lot of changes in my time here but I like the challenge of learning new things and also seeing the bigger picture.

Every day I push myself to be better than the last. Not just in rate but also cleanliness, efficiency, gap time and also my overall attitude.

With the introduction of the Tier system I was promoted to a Tier 4 Associate for my hard work and dedication. And because of that promotion I have had plenty of opportunities to grow with the company and further deepen my knowledge about how they run on a day to day basis.

I have become proficient in S-Zone and Kroger, Cooler, Freezer, and A-Zone. I have gotten the chance to learn Inbound as well.

I love the relationships I've built with my coworkers. Getting to work alongside people of quality like I do is such a rare thing and I hold it dearly. It brings up the morale everyday to have such reliable and fun to be around friends/coworkers.

• In my time at Chewy I've learned a lot of different processes. Including, but not limited to: An order selector and packer, truck loading, Quality assurance, SME/Lead where I would coordinate directly with my supervisor so that we would meet our goal times, I also had the pleasure of working with my Safety Coordinator with the title of 'SEAL' or (Safety Engagement and Learning) where my job every day was to train a group of new hires how to safely and efficiently work through their shift, and I feel strongly that has helped with my people and social skills. I've worked on a cherry picker, walkie rider and a walkie stacker in multiple departments. Some other areas being our outbound docks, and transfers department. I feel as though I learned a lot about a warehouse environment in the short time I was there but I'm always willing to learn more and I'm confident in my ability to multitask and work hard to meet a quota.
