  • Maintain, repair, upgrade and build equipment needed for a lamination manufacturing facility. Electro Mechanic/Fabricator

Ardagh Glass
12.2014 - Current
  • I started here in the batch and furnace area with training with EPA and DNR standards for emissions. Also maintain, repair, upgrade and build Equipment needed for a glass manufacturing plant. Including building platforms, stairs and guarding to OSHA regulations. I also look for and address any OSHA standards or safety problems found and or reported. This includes repairs and rebuilds on conveyors, testing and inspection equipment. This includes giving direction and training to others, from one to several people to complete the task at hand. I find improvements to make and implement them in SOP's or procedure of training to improve knowledge of individuals and reduce repair time, plus down time. Most issues I schedule with the parts ready on a cart to implement when an opportunity to make the repair or upgrade can be done without affecting production. Building maintenance is included in my assignments. I use a Fiix computer based system to keep track of details and write them in a notebook for back up. 11 years.
