Since I was ten years old I have helped manage and maintain our three family-owned properties, including minor carpentry, cleaning, runs to the dump, lawn and snow service, answering the phone and assisting in all aspects of the management and maintenance of 62 rental units (half residential and half commercial) in Anchorage and Seward.

• Assisted in cleanup of snow, very hard physical work sometimes overnight during the week while also finishing high school during the 2021-22 winter.
• Upheld safety standards for working in wet, cold and windy conditions.
• Picked up and transported snow to designated local areas.
• Applied salt or chemical solutions to surfaces as preventive measure against snow and ice buildup.
• Worked in parking lots, roads and driveways to handle needs of businesses and residential customers.

• Removed damaged portions of walls, walkways, partitions and other similar structures in preparation for repairs.
• Loaded and removed debris from sites to keep areas clean and avoid safety concerns.
• Brought materials and tools from trucks and storage facilities to work site locations and organized for expected needs.
• Was a valued "gopher" for a major remodel of a downtown Anchorage apartment complex.
