You might consider why a midwife is applying for a retail position: I am taking a hiatus from my trained profession. I recently relocated to Chico and desire to engage within my community. I have enjoyed shopping at your Chico store location and can envision myself as a part of the diverse team. Many years ago, I enjoyed working for a natural food co-op in Wisconsin.

As with providing midwifery service, I am skilled at interpersonal relationship building. I strive to understand others' needs and actively participate in answer-seeking behavior. I am out-going and find joy in being of service to others.
