• Background: Moved to the U.S. in 2011 from Slovakia, where English is my second language. Initially worked as a nanny, then transitioned to restaurant roles to improve my English skills and integrate into the community.
• Pursued Dental Assistant Career: Enrolled in a dental assistant program to follow my passion for helping people in a healthcare setting. Earned certification and gained hands-on experience assisting in various dental procedures.
• Family and International Experience: In 2018, returned to Slovakia to be with family during pregnancy, as my husband serves in the U.S. Air Force and was on deployment. Due to pandemic restrictions, stayed in Slovakia until 2022.
