I have been painting since I was a child, and because I have to do continuing education I decided to get certified in Art. I am two classes away from my art degree and stopped I guess due to loosing my husband and just going through a low period in my life. But I do now have the desire to continue and finish my degree for that.
I have done art shows, sold art and have taught children art in this school for close to 30 years. I have taught art in day camps and Christian School in Woodland and in youth groups.
I also have a love for gardening and have enjoys teaching the children at Princeton how to start plants from a seed to a producing vegetable garden. I have also taught them about aquaponics and giving them many experience with this end of gardening.
I love antiques/ or unique pieces and l enjoys taking an antique and painting on them or adding a painting to a piece. Many of these I have sold over the years. Such as painting on moose horns, adding a painting to old saws, window frames or players or tins.
I have never been the person who enjoyed sports of any kind but have always love to paint, garden, read, and enjoy nature. I would be thrilled for the opperitunity to Instill those loves to other students who would prefer a canvas and paint brush or a good book then a basketball court.
