North Smithfield Schools Teacher of the Year 1994

In !994 I was awarded the honor of being North Smithfield Teacher of the Year. During this time I was actively involved in the development of new curricula for Literacy, having been Co-Director of our Literacy Team. I was integrating new writing strategies in the classroom serving as a model for other teachers. Additionally, I was a member of the Celebrate Writing Committee, our School Improvement Team, and a mentor for new teachers.
