Summary

I am a seasoned nurse having worked in many areas of nursing healthcare delivery. At one time I aspired to use my RN and business degree to lead a business, and I did so successfully for 7 years in Hawaii. Having accomplished that goal I now look forward to using my skills to make a difference in the lives of people in ways both big and small. I believe in the magic of what Walt Disney created and I realize that the heart of the Disney experience is the people who work in the park. Having happy and healthy employees does not happen magically; it takes several avenues of focus and one of those is at an onsite location for employees to go should they become ill or get injured. I believe I can provide an exemplary level of service to Disney Cast Members who are in need of fast and comprehensive care. I also enjoy the management of work related injuries post incident throughout the life cycle of a worker's compensation related leave.

There are any number of stressors in the work environment and sometimes what is needed is a comforting presence and a listening ear to soothe someone who may be having a panic attack or has had a unpleasant experience. The goal is always to provide what is needed within the parameters of what can be provided but always doing so with a focused human touch.

If given the opportunity I believe I would be a great addition to the existing team of providers in the medical clinic.
