As a volunteer, I organized lessons and activities about science for the kids in the after-school program at the school. For four hours a week, I led the club for the children, taught them lessons about the environment and our planet, planned games for them relating to the lesson, helped them with their homework, and supervised them until their parents picked them up.

Mini-counselor at Camp Ramah in New England

At camp, I was a volunteer mini-counselor. For two days of the summer, I had to look over campers aged 11-12. I was their primary caregiver. I had to watch them at all times and make sure they went to their assigned activities. I had to organize activities for them, make sure they cleaned their bunk, and stay with them at meals.
