Accomplishments
Collaborated with two IT specialists, our company's and Nestle USA's in the development of an ACCESS database to calculate monthly requirements for Nestle. This database performed the calculations to combine inventory levels on both sides against projections taking into account any upcoming graphic changes. The database took our Vendor Managed Inventory program to the next level in service, accuracy and most important, timeliness. I provided the IT team with the process flow and information sources for the calculations that were being done by hand and IT created/programmed the actual working database. From concept to months of testing to final working database took over 18 months . It was a fantastic project to be a part of and the results made a huge difference for both sides.
