Work History

Associate Design Engineer - Battery Technology

PACCAR BEV 3
05.2025 - Current
  • Provide design support for BEV3 components, including locating and uploading test results to WRR to finalize DVP.
  • Assist in the development of performance tests and updated documentation to guide the PACCAR organization in the effective use of BEV3 batteries.
  • Contribute to drawing support for BEV3 components by managing part numbers, implementing changes, drafting Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), submitting Requests for Product Improvements (RPIs), and coordinating implementation across global truck divisions and Dynacraft.
  • Offer troubleshooting support for BEV3 components by guiding technicians through diagnostic procedures, analyzing CAN logs, communicating technical issues with suppliers, and facilitating root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Monitor and manage open issues, coordinating with Dynacraft and DAF on components requiring return to supplier for analysis or replacement.
  • Engage with PACCAR Technical Center (PTC)/DAF/Leyland on change approvals and create presentations to convey complex issues to management.
  • Facilitate effective communication between PACCAR and suppliers, serving as the primary point of contact to direct inquiries regarding BEV3 batteries to the appropriate personnel in both organizations.

Associate Design Engineer - BEV e-Aux Development

PACCAR SuperTruck 3 Program
07.2023 - 06.2025
  • Spearheaded development of coolant heater and refrigerant compressor components for SuperTruck 3 initiative, improving thermal system efficiency and reliability.
  • Supported the product development roadmap for advanced electric vehicle technologies by collaborating with suppliers and colleagues throughout the PACCAR global organization.
  • Guided component specifications via TRS documents using DNG.
  • Conducted a benchmark study of SuperTruck 3 thermal management system compared to previous production performance.
  • Executed a DFMEA for battery heater components, identifying and mitigating key risks early in the development cycle.
  • Facilitated discussions with suppliers to evaluate fabrication processes and work closely with the purchasing team during the Request for Information (RFI) process.
  • Designed CAD models of coolant hose routing for the Electric Vehicle Auxiliary (EVA) structure as implementation of vehicle integration.
