Belville Elementary Teacher of the Year 2022-23

I was selected by my peers to represent Belville Elementary within the school as well as on the county teacher of the year committee.  I was able to take concerns, solutions, help implement new programs and share the good things that were happening with members of the community, school board, superintendent and other school stake holders.  I created monthly feedback surveys, worked closely with my administration on extra activities to improve community involvement, participated in curriculum.  Implemented the Sunshine club in our school to help improve moral and overall positive school environment.

I worked with other teachers to help improve the overall teaching experience throughput the county and encourage new educators to Brunswick county.
