Care of the critically ill infant(22-40+ weeks gestational age) in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Experience in caring for infants requiring:

• High Frequency Ventilator
• Total Body Cooling
• aEEG
• iNO
• UAC, UVC, PAL, PICC,Broviac management

Experienced member of the NICU Delivery Team

• Attend high risk deliveries of infants 22-40+ weeks gestational age.
• Experience with performing NRP alongside RTs and Neonatologist

Charge RN (PRN)

• Ensure unit runs smoothly with effective communication with staff including RN, PCTs, RTs, and Neonatologist
• Assist staff with patient care
• Enhanced patient satisfaction through effective communication, empathy, and timely response to patients and their family's needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians to quickly assess patients and deliver appropriate treatment while managing rapidly changing conditions.

Lactation RN

• Cross-trained in Lactation to provide support to new mother's in their breastfeeding journey
• Float to Lactation to assist mothers with breastfeeding
• Currently working on getting hours to pursue IBCLC

Chair of Palliative Care Committee

• Collaborate with social worker and members of the NICU team to ensure that parents have the resources available to work through options related to Comfort Care of infant.
• Help grieving parents with making the worst time in their life as smooth as possible by answering questions, providing support and creating memory boxes of their baby .
• Follow up with bereaved families for one year.
• Create and send Remembrance Ornaments for bereaved families at the end of the year.

• Participated in Baylor Dallas NICU Internship
• Provided care to the critically ill infant from 24wks-40+ weeks gestational age.
