Visiting Assistant Professor

  • Schedule and teach one hour vocal pedagogy to Musical theater students.
  • Schedule and give 30 minute coachings to Musical Theater students. Incorporate musicianship and text work into their materials in preparation for auditions, juries and performances.
  • Teach Scene Into Song (Acting VII) to senior Musical Theater students.
  • Teach a musicianship class to Acting Majors, incorporating basic sight singing, ear training and theory as well as ensemble work.

Accomplishments

    I am an accomplished singer/actress/dancer that has performed on Broadway, on National Equity Tours, in Regional Houses throughout the country and France and Japan. **

    I have taught masterclasses across the country and been a voice teacher for over 25 years. I have directed musicals on a main stage with a full creative team as well as in a black box with only a stage manager and a technical director.

    I have written a musical with a colleague and we have workshopped it and are entering it into new works festivals this coming year.

    I have run a summer MT Intensive camp and led a voice program.
