Regional Internship Director

Managed all aspects of assigned regions. This includes screening and interviewing of internship applicants, coordinating intern/student schedules, mentoring interns, regular communication with interns and preceptors, and ensuring compliance with the Standards of Education set by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics.


Responsible for the Critical Care MNT Specialty Rotation. This includes developing the curriculum, rotation competencies, and assignments. Oversee all interns/students who complete this rotation to ensure they have met the required standards.


Plan and coordinate the virtual class days for students/interns. This includes setting the schedule, contacting speakers, and communicating with the other members of the internship team.


Oversee the planning and coordination of the orientation schedules. For the fall orientations, act as the contact person with the event site to coordinate all aspects of orientation including room reservations, AV equipment needs, catering, etc.


Responsible for managing the associate director assigned to my regions. Approve schedules, payroll, and assigned duties.
