  • Passport to Success, 09/2023-06/2024, Passport to Success provides participants with an overview of the College of Continuing Education, opportunities to meet leaders in the college, while offering professional mentorship.
  • Mentors and Mentees, Contract, 09/2023 - 06/2024, Organized by the AFT Guild, M&M is a one-on-one mentorship program, designed to engage and support new contract faculty by assisting them as they acquire institutional and cultural knowledge, and providing an opportunity to explore, develop, and grow into the faculty they would like to become.
  • Mentors and Mentees, Adjunct, 09/2022- 06/2023, I participated in the above-mentioned M&M program as an adjunct. I attribute some of my success to getting a contract with my being mentored by Linda Osborn, former Chair of the DEIAA Committee.

  • SDCCE Technology Committee, 09/2023 - 09/2024, Until scheduling prevented my participation, I was a member of the SDCEE Technology Committee, which is a participatory governance committee ensuring technology access to faculty, staff, and students.
  • ESL Learner Persistence Committee, 09/2015 - 09/2024, As a member, I assisted with the writing and editing of the ESL Student Guide, help organize community partner events, and help develop teaching tips presented to district faculty and staff. Also, I served as Co-Coordinator of the student journal, On Our Way, Writings by the ESL Students of SDCCE.
