Experience with children

My husband Bruce and I met in 1992 he had 4 children,3 boys and a girl and I had 2 girls. My children lived with us full time and eventually all of his children moved in with us as well.

In 1995 a friend of my mothers asked me to please take in her grandchildren they were taken by the state and in a temporary foster care home. So Bruce and I went to classes and got our foster care license and took both children in.  after a little more than 2 years in my care the state asked my husband and I to adopt them. I just couldn't bring myself to take away their parents right completely. The state gave both children back to their father. David stayed with his dad but with-in 6 months the father signed Rose over to my husband and I and She lived with us until she was 25. I am still very close with Rose and David. 

Now all of our children are grown. The oldest being 44 and the youngest being 33.

So I am now starting over, I have custody of my 3 grandchildren ages 5, 9 and 11
